About Forever Bare:

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

  • Recently tanned skin (must wait 4 weeks)

  • Fitzpatrick V–VI (increased risk of burns or hyperpigmentation)

  • Pregnancy

  • Use of photosensitizing medications

  • Active skin conditions in the treatment area (eczema, psoriasis, infection)

  • History of keloid scarring

  • Tattoos in treatment area (avoid treating directly over tattoos)

  • Metal implants or pacemakers (in area being treated)

  • Avoid sun exposure for 4 weeks prior to treatment and use a broad spectrum sunscreen

    Avoid sunless tanning products 7 days prior to treatment

    Do not wax or pluck between treatments

    Avoid skin irritants for a few days prior treatment (tretitnoin, rentinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids)

    Clients must be clean shaven in the desired area prior to treatment

  • Most patients have minimal to low downtime after a session.

    Avoid sun exposure for the next 4 weeks and use a broad spectrum sunscreen

    Avoid heat for 1-2 days (hot tubs, saunas, exercise etc)

    Do not wax or pluck between treatments

    Avoid skin irritants for a few days post treatment (tretitnoin, rentinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids)

    There may be slight redness in the area for approximately 2-24 hours following the treatment

  • Is laser hair removal permanent?

    The average patient starts with 6-8 treatments and will see significant results; however, more laser hair removal treatments may be required for more reduction or maintenance depending on the patient

    Treatment intervals:

    Facial hair: 6-8 weeks

    Body hair: 8-10 weeks
